School Ratings in the Austin Area

This post was originally published in May 2020. However, with the number of people moving here, we wanted to move this post back up to the top as it has proven to be useful.

Realtors are prohibited from endorsing schools or suggesting that a school is good or bad; however, it is THE thing that most homebuyers want to talk about.

So, while I am not not offering any opinions here about the quality of the schools, I want to share the top ranked schools that I see according to greaterschools.com‘s numbers.

Feel free to agree or disagree. It’s not MY rating, after all. 

If I’ve missed any that are 7 or higher, please let me know.

*Note: Rouse High School and Leander High School were added later, but not a 7/10 at the time of this research, as best we understand. Rouse High School area is very big, and a bit like Manor in the sense that not all the schools within these borders will all be 7/10. Although not all 7’s, Rouse HS area schools will generally be much higher than Manor according to greaterschools.com. Leander HS is much the same. We’re not taking any positions on good or bad schools, just reporting the numbers they report.
